The new-look Federal Government boasts 10 women in cabinet, 13 women in the Ministry, and 19 frontbenchers. Not to mention the 10 women now in the shadow cabinet. Record numbers for women!
The March 4 Justice rallies, combined with the unified cries for change by women across Australia have clearly made an impact.
And yet, there’s still a long way to go. To this day, at least half of all women in Australia have experienced sexual harassment.
Women are underrepresented in key decision-making roles across almost all industries. While women make up more than half the employees, women comprise only:
- 4% of CEOs
- 5% of key management positions
- 33% of board members
- 18% of board chairs

We can come together to share our ideas, share our stories, listen to those that have trodden the path before us and take inspiration for those to break barriers and move the bar, each and every day.
Women in Leadership Summit 2022 is not going to solve the issues of inequality that still exist within Australia.
It will, however, empower you with the experience and perspectives from a vast array of successful women from a variety of backgrounds – each sharing unique lessons from working their way to the very top of their professions.
